Bittu Challenges Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann: Union Minister of State for Railways and Food Processing Industries, Ravneet Singh Bittu, has launched a sharp attack on Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, accusing him of orchestrating false cases against his close associates. In a bold challenge, Bittu dared the CM to arrest him directly instead of targeting his relatives and supporters.
Bittu’s remarks come in the wake of two cases registered against his associates—Rajiv Raja in Ludhiana, who has been booked in an extortion case, and Rajesh Attri in Patiala, who faces charges under the SC/ST Act. Bittu alleged that these cases were fabricated under the Punjab government’s directives to politically intimidate him and his circle.
“Dare to face me or arrest me. Stop taking revenge on my associates’ families. I fight my battles directly and without resorting to force on innocent children or families,” Bittu declared in a strongly worded statement.

Punjab Police of being misused as a political tool
The minister further accused the Punjab Police of being misused as a political tool, alleging that they have been conducting continuous raids in Patiala, Jagraon, Ferozepur, and Ludhiana to harass his relatives. He warned Chief Minister Mann that political power is temporary and that the same police force being used today may one day turn against him.
Bittu also addressed the Punjab Police directly, urging officers to exercise caution in their actions. “Governments come and go. What will happen when the BJP eventually wins the electorate battle in Punjab?” he questioned.

Expressing gratitude to Delhi voters for delivering a decisive mandate in favor of the BJP, Bittu linked the Punjab government’s alleged vendetta to his outspoken stance on corruption. He recalled his role in exposing an alleged illicit cash stash in Kapurthala during the recent election campaign, which led to a raid by the Election Commission. Bittu claimed that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government is now retaliating by attempting to intimidate him and his family.
“Delhi voters sent a clear message against AAP. All of their front faces have been defeated,” Bittu asserted, doubling down on his criticism of the Punjab leadership.
As the political battle between the BJP and AAP intensifies, all eyes are now on how the Punjab government and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will respond to Bittu’s challenge.
