April 25, 2025 — In a major move to enhance the wellbeing of its delivery workforce, Amazon India has announced a nationwide initiative to provide free health check-ups.
The program, which is already in progress, began with medical camps in Tamil Nadu and the Delhi NCR region. The next phase will focus on expanding access to healthcare in North India, with upcoming camps scheduled in cities including Delhi NCR, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Noida, Jaipur, Lucknow, and Varanasi.
Partnering with Marsh and Care Insurance, Amazon India is offering a range of essential health services through these camps. In addition to medical examinations, delivery associates will receive personalized guidance on wellness and preventive healthcare.
“At Amazon, we deeply value the contributions of our delivery associates. This initiative is part of our ongoing effort to support their health and well-being,” a company spokesperson said.
The program reflects Amazon India’s broader commitment to creating a safer and healthier working environment for its last-mile delivery network across the country.
