Delhi chief minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday inaugurated the newly renovated Nehru Place Post Office alongside Jyotiraditya Scindia, marking another step in the modernization of postal services in the capital.
The upgraded facility has been equipped with modern infrastructure and technology-driven services aimed at improving efficiency and citizen convenience. Officials said the revamped post office will provide faster, simpler, and more accessible public services for residents and businesses in the area.
Speaking at the inauguration, leaders highlighted the ongoing transformation of India Post under the leadership of Narendra Modi, emphasizing the adoption of technology and customer-focused reforms to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving digital era.
Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani, local MLA Shikha Rai, and several other dignitaries were also present at the event.
Officials said the modernization initiative is part of broader efforts to strengthen public service delivery and improve the overall customer experience across India Post facilities nationwide.
