Telangana is all set to host the 72nd Miss World competition
Telangana is all set to host the 72nd Miss World competition from May 10 to 31 in Hyderabad. This major international event is being organized with the guidance of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who has directed the government to showcase Telangana’s unique culture, heritage, and progress to the world.
With the theme “The World looks at Telangana!”, Contestants from around 120 countries are expected to arrive in Hyderabad between May 2 and 8.
The government has prepared a special tour plan to highlight Telangana’s spiritual, cultural, medical, and tourism strengths.

Here are some key highlights from the program schedule:
- May 12: Contestants will visit Nagarjuna Sagar’s Buddhavanam and take part in a heritage walk at Charminar and Laad Bazaar.
- May 13–15: Visits to Chowmahalla Palace, Warangal Fort, Ramappa Temple, Yadagirigutta Temple, and Pochampally handloom center.
- May 16–18: A medical tourism event at AIG Hospital, visits to the ancient Pillalamarri tree, Experium Eco Park, Ramoji Film City, and the Telangana Police Command Center.
- May 20–24: Regional finale rounds, an IPL match, workshops at Shilparamam, and fashion, talent, and modeling finales.
- May 26: Contestants will present their social work projects under “Beauty with a Purpose.”
- May 31: The Grand Finale of Miss World 2025 will be held.

Miss World Chairperson Julia Evelyn Morley and other key delegates were warmly welcomed in Hyderabad on May 2.
The government hopes this event will not only celebrate beauty and talent but also shine a global spotlight on Telangana’s growth and vibrant identity.
