ITDC Posts Rs. 82.94 Crore Profit in FY 2024–25, Showcasing Steady Growth

New Delhi, May 30The India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), a public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Tourism, has reported a robust financial performance for FY 2024–25, underlining its consistent growth and strategic transformation in India’s evolving tourism sector.

The corporation recorded a total turnover of ₹587.78 crore and a Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹82.94 crore, signaling strong operational resilience and fiscal discipline amid rising industry competition.

Commenting on the results, ITDC Managing Director Ms. Mugdha Sinha, IAS, stated, “Our performance this fiscal year reflects ITDC’s core strengths—diverse offerings, operational efficiency, and a deep commitment to customer-centric innovation. As market dynamics shift, we remain focused on elevating benchmarks in hospitality, travel, and tourism services.”

Strategic Expansion into High-Growth Segments

As part of its forward-looking approach, ITDC has made significant inroads into high-potential tourism segments, including destination weddings and the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector. A key highlight of the year was Ashok Travels & Tours (ATT), ITDC’s travel SBU, which served as the official travel partner for Team India at the Paris 2024 Olympics—marking a milestone in its global outreach.

Top Credit Rating Reflects Strong Financial Health

Reaffirming investor confidence, ITDC earned a CARE A1+ credit rating—the highest rating for short-term instruments—demonstrating its solid liquidity position and strong business fundamentals.

Diversification and Innovation Driving Growth

Beyond its flagship hospitality services, ITDC continues to broaden its presence across event management, tourism infrastructure development, and skill-building initiatives. The corporation is actively enhancing its strategic business units (SBUs) to ensure optimal resource utilization and sustained excellence.
