Lucknow, August 7, 2025 — This Raksha Bandhan, residents of Lucknow can enjoy legendary local sweets without stepping out, thanks to Swiggy’s latest festive initiative. The on-demand convenience platform has launched 10 mobile sweet stores across the city, offering 10-minute doorstep delivery of mithai from some of Lucknow’s most iconic sweet shops.
Through this rollout, popular outlets such as Chhappan Bhog, Madhurima Sweets and Neelkanth Sweets will now reach customers in over 10 localities — including Mahanagar, Alambagh, Ashiyana Colony and Vrindavan Colony — where these stores currently have no physical presence.
The service was officially flagged off on August 7 from Swiggy’s Vibhuti Khand, Gomti Nagar office, with mobile vans dispatched across the city to ensure residents can celebrate without the hassle of queues and crowded stores.
“By combining tradition with technology, we’re making it possible for customers to enjoy freshly prepared festive sweets in just 10 minutes, no matter where they are in the city,” said a Swiggy spokesperson.
With the launch of these mobile sweet stores, Swiggy is blending convenience and cultural celebration — ensuring that the spirit of Raksha Bandhan reaches every home in Lucknow, right on time.
